Welcome Newcomers! If you are new to pageants we do offer a pageant workshop onsite at the hotel along with a rehearsal and parent/child orientation to get you better acquainted with the system.

Pageant Rehearsal – A pageant rehearsal is scheduled for 7:00p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Capital Plaza Hotel.

Pageant Workshop is conducted on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 10:00a.m. and is open to all contestants.

Pageant Information -  The pageant is open to contestants from all over the country ages three months to 27 years. We are considered natural in that we do allow make-up, but no flippers, wiglets, or anything that may be deemed artificial by the pageant judges or staff. All contestants will receive a trophy and will be individually recognized onstage for their participation in the 2011 Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageant. Contestants will compete in Interview (3 and up), Casual Wear, and Formal Wear.

Compete in Optionals! Western Wear, Derby Wear and 1980’s Wear just to name a few. This year we have added contestant’s outfit of choice. This is a great way to get some extra stage practice. Optionals do not count toward an individual’s overall score.

Awards -  A winner and four runners up will be chosen in each age division plus seven specialty awards including—Director’s Award, Best Personality. Best Bio, Best Interview, Most Pre-paid Ticket Sales, Pageant Awareness Award, Rising Star Award.

Overall Ad Sales Queen is awarded to the contestant that places the most ads and receives a free registration at next year’s pageant! Ad deadlines are April 15, 2011 and must be camera ready in the form of a jpeg, tiff or EPS file.

Three Overall Supreme Winnders – Plus! Three Supreme winners that win Cash! Huge crowns! Trophies! Banners! Jewelry!

Pizza Party is scheduled for Saturday , April 30, 2011 at 8:00p.m. All contestants are invited to attend.  The winner of the door decorating contest will be announced and will receive a trophy.

Door Decorating Contest – Are you creative? The Door Decorating Contest is for you. Pageant staff will be perusing the halls and judging your door decoration on originality, creativity. The winner of this event will receive a trophy and will be recognized onstage at the pageant finals.

Capital Plaza Hotel – official property of the 2010 Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageant

The Crowned Prince & Princess Charm staff have secured an incredibly reduced lodging rate of $84.00 per night single/ double occupancy. The hotel is located in historic downtown Frankfort, KY and convenient to shops and restaurants. In addition, the hotel boasts an indoor swimming pool and an onsite Salon—Salon J is located on the 10th floor of the hotel. The deadline to reserve your lodging room at this incredibly reduced rate is March 22, 2010. Reservations can be made by contacting Marie Murray at (502)227-5100. You must state that you are with the Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageant to receive this lodging rate.

Entering the 2010 Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageant is easy! Simply fill out the attached application. Mail in the $25.00 application fee to the pageant office listed below or through paypal and kblackwell3@msn.com. The pageant office accepts Checks and Money Orders made payable to Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageants, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. All remaining balances are due in the pageant office by April 1, 2010. Once the application fee is received, you will receive the official Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageant packet complete with sample judges questions, breakdown of how categories are judged, and a copy of last year’s official Crowned Prince & Princess Charm souvenir program.

We have a winner! Two-time Door Decorating Champion!

Congratulations to Taylor Milburn on her creativity, fun and interest generated at the 2010 Crowned Prince & Princess Charm pageant. Each year, a panel of judges walk in search of the coolest door decorations and flair at the Capital Plaza Hotel in For the second year in a row, Taylor Milburn won with her Hawaiian themed princesss door. Congratulations Taylor! She received a trophy at the Pizza Party.
