The 9th Annual Crowned Prince and Princess Charm Pageant was held at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Frankfort, Kentucky, April 26 to 28, 2013. Contestants from Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio convened in Frankfort to compete for Cash! Six -foot trophies! Huge crowns! Modeling scholarships! Great prizes! Contestants competed in a panel interview with the judges ( 4 and up), casual wear and formal wear.
In addition, contestants competed in over 15 optional categories including : Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Smile, Derby, Academic, Community Service, Speech, Western Wear and Hollywood Glamour just to name a few. A winner and four runners up was awarded in each age division plus six specialty awards that included: Director’s Award, Rising Star, Personality, Most Pre-paid Ticket Sales, Pageant Awareness Award and Best Bio or Resume.
Moms and Dads had a great opportunity to compete with their parents in the Mommy & Me and Daddy and Me competitions.

In addition, we conducted a Door Decorating Contest and a Humanitarian Award. The winner of both is Mackenzie Ford of Ohio. The 2013 Pageantry Spirit Award went to Madison Burton of Indiana. Her picture will appear in Pageantry magazine– so stay tuned!
We had a great group of contestants this year and a great group of parents! I truly enjoyed meeting and working with all of them and having a wonderful pageant weekend. A very special thank you goes out to our Crowned Prince and Princess Charm Alumni Queens, Kristyn Kocjanic of Ohio and Hannah Martin of Louisville for their assistance during pageant weekend! The judges certainly had their hands full and we greatly appreciate them taking the time out of their busy schedules to assist us.

Ultimate Grand Supreme. An Ultimate Grand Supreme winner will be awarded at the 2013 Crowned Prince and Princess Charm Pageant. The contestant with the highest overall score of the pageant will win this award. A 7 inch crown, 6 foot trophy and a $500 saving bond awaits this winner.
Be the Inaugural Crowned Prince and Princess Charm Humanitarian Queen!
In the Franklin County community the site of the 2013 Crowned Prince and Princess Charm Pageant, our community has seen a lot of hardships on not just its people, but animals as well. As a result, Crowned Prince and Princess Charm Pageants has selected the Life House a no-kill animal shelter as its official philanthropy. The shelter cares for dogs and cats and needs your help! During pageant weekend, Crowned Prince and Princess Charm Pageants will be accepting donations of dog collars, scoop able cat litter, paper towels, plastic gloves, trash bags, rawhide chews and dog and cat toys just to name a few.
The contestant that donates the most items will receive the inaugural Crowned Prince and Princess Charm Humanitarian Queen with a crown, sash and trophy. They will be featured in the next Crowned Prince and Princess Charm Newsletter.
Is everyone in your family photogenic? Then enter the Most Photogenic Family Portrait Contest. Winners will be announced during pageant finals and will receive a trophy and be featured on the pageant website and in the newsletter.
Do you have a photogenic dog, cat, turtle or even snake? This year we have added some new categories to get the family and community involved. Do you have a photogenic dog, cat, turtle or even snake? Then enter the Most Photogenic Family Pet Contest. You can dress your pet up in his or her Sunday best or take their picture and submit it at pageant registration. Your pet will be featured on the website and in the next Pageant newsletter.

The Crowned Prince and Princess Charm Bowling Green Kentucky Preliminary was held at the Carroll Knicely Conference Center in Bowling Green, KY on Saturday, March 2, 2013. We are very proud of our royalty—Shaniya Graves of Bowling Green, Miles Banet of Mt. Washington, Aaliah Chanel of Bowling Green, Brianna Brooks of Russellville and Hailey Pawley of Louisville, Kentucky.
Contestants competed in interview, casual and formal wear. Winners will advance to the 2013 Crowned Prince and Princess Charm National Pageant in Frankfort, KY on April 26-28, 2013.We crowned one Overall Supreme Winner, Shaniya Graves of Bowling Green, KY.
Interested? You can be a part of the fun and excitement that the Crowned Prince and Princess Charm Pageant has to offer! We are a great starter pageant. A rehearsal and pageant workshop is conducted onsite to assist newcomers. We strive to make this pageant and fun and enjoyable experience for all! We crown a winner and four runners- up in each age division plus six specialty awards.
Five Overall Supremes, a Novice Supreme for 2 or less pageants and an Overall Grand Supreme. Winners receive Cash! Crowns! Six-foot Trophies! Jewelry and much more!
There is still time for you to enter the National Pageant- April 26-28 at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Frankfort, KY. Last Preliminary – March 2, 2013- Make Plans Now! Hotel Room Block Expires February 10!
The last preliminary before the 2013 Crowned Prince and Princess Charm National Pageant will be held at the Carroll Knicely Conference Center located at 2355 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, KY. All competition times are Central Standard Time. We will get started at 9:00a.m. With registration and the pageant will conclude by 4pm March 2. We are a natural pageant system, open to contestants three months to 27years and offer a boys divisions for those under 8 years of age. Contestants will compete in interview (4 and up), casual and formal wear. Contestants under four will compete in onstage personality in lieu of interview. A winner and four runners up will be chosen in each age division and six overall specialty awards. In addition, we have several optionals to choose from including: prettiest hair, prettiest eyes, prettiest smile, derby and western wear just to name a few.
The Staybridge Suites of Bowling Green is the official host hotel. The property is offering contestants and their families a rate of $109 per night single/double occupancy! Completed in November of 2012, it is a lovely property that offers a weekend breakfast and each lodging room boast an efficiency kitchen. The staff has been wonderful to work with and you will be impressed with the amenities this property offers.
The best part: It is next door to the Carroll Knicely Convention Center.

You do not have to enter a preliminary in order to compete at the National pageant as you may enter the National as a contestant at large. Early Bird Rate Extended for Nationals!
The Early Bird Rate for the 2013 Crowned Prince and Princess Charm National Pageant has been extended to February 21. In order to qualify for this rate, I must have the $30.00 application fee in hand. Once I receive the fee, you will receive the official Crowned Prince and Princess Charm packet with sample judge’s questions, interview questions and much more!
Contestants will compete in interview (4 and up), casual and formal wear. If you cannot make it to a preliminary, you can enter as a contestant at large in the 2013 Crowned Prince and Princess Charm National Pageant, April 26-28 in Frankfort, KY.
