  2. Congratulations on your interest in the pageantry realm. You can search on pageant voy boards looking under KY as well to find some local ones. You can call mea (859)492-3025 if you have additional questions. You might want to start in some of your local fair pageants as well. The Crowned Prince & Princess Charm pageant would be delighted for you to compete with us. It is a weekend, fun-filled competition. We offer workshops and parent orientations.

  4. Hello Crystal,

The best advice I can give you is to hit the ground running and see if she likes it. The younger she starts the easier it will be. I would start competing in some local ones around your area for some practice. Pageantry is like anything else in life, the more you compete and get more experience the better you will become. This time of year is the season for county fair pageants–now would be a great time. In my system, a parent/child orientation and a pageant workshop is offered to assist newcomers in the field.

I am aa former competitor myself, and wanted to help others reach their dreams and aspirations in pageantry as well.

As far as what pageants are real? I would talk to some people that have competed before, peruse their websites, see how long they have been in business.

I have been in the pageant business for six years and I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce. Look for that type of information as well. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.

Crowned Princess Charm’s 2011 pageant is April 29- May 1 in Frankfort, KY. I am running a summer rate- enter by September 6, 2010 and receive the 2010 pageant rates. I do porvide you with the tools-sample score sheets, 2010 program book, detailed information about what the judges are looking for, etc. Contestants may receive their judges scores and comments after the competition.
